Father Ed's......How it all began.

Nine years ago, Dublin born Eddie Daly came to the Algarve to retire. Little did he know then that he would end up working harder than ever but having the time of his life in doing so.

Eddie, spotted a large unused warehouse at the back of Montechoro Park in Albufeira. Building work started, the cement mixers were turning, some bad language was mumbled and plenty sweat was shed but by August 1st 2000 the first pint of Guinness was pulled.

Now Father Ed’s is one of the largest family bars in the Algarve with a huge following of people who come back year after year. It entertains all ages with its great family environment, live entertainment every night, huge selection of beers & spirits, an all new menu - with Irish specialities, plenty of outdoor seating, a family games room, 2 large plasma screen TV’sand a Big screen and best of all the friendliest staff on the Algarve.
